Looking for Edel 4 owners

I have a 70's Edel 4, a 23 feet French cabin sailboat with dubbelskinned, foamed in hull, lifting cabin top, and outboard engine in a bun.

I am quite fond of it - and would like to get in touch with any owners to exchange experiences - especially about adaptations for single handed sailing and it's seagoing abilities.

The French put it in category 3 - anybody know about these?

The category is to do with how far a French registered boat can go off shore. 3rd category is up to 60 miles from shelter.

It's not just to do with the boat, some boats can move up a category with more equipmeny (flares, liferaft, etc.) Owners can move down a category to avoid having to carry sophisticated kit when they only daysail, for example.

If your boat is British registered, the French category is irrelevant.
