Hi All,
My name is JP, I'm 36 and live in West Malling, Kent.
I'm looking for Crewing Opportunities, preferable in the south of England- particularly West Sussex, Dorset and IOW, but open to offers if we can make it work (flexible, but planning required). Initially looking for Day trips, possibly 2 days during the weekend, but happy to hear ideas and proposals.
Eventually/in due course or if I am lucky enough to catch your attention, I would like to do some weekend racing and cruising off shore if somebody is willing to "take me under their wing" and teach me proper technical and pratical lessons/tips. Also happy to do whatever is needed ... and promise not to eat all your food and drink your "water"
I have little experience really. I only used small boats in big river in Argentina in my teenage years and did a bit of windsurfing in my early 20's in lakes in Chile.
That said, I am very keen to learn (currently looking into joining a club and researching relevant courses)
If it helps compensate to start with, I am extremely fit and quite strong, as I train with weights almost everyday. I am a qualified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist, and I play tennins at top leagues in my local club (for whatever is worth mentioning it ;-)
All advise welcome.
Thanks and regards
JP
