Does anyone know of the whereabouts or owners of the rare moody 52. in 5 years of Cruising I have not seen one. I know there were only 7 built but there must be at least one lurking about somewhere othere than mine "Storm Dodger"

Thanks in advance

Theres' one on the Crouch called Breakaway M.
It was for sale 5 years ago, and I briefly considered it, because it seemed such an elegant bargain.
But an East Coast boat it ain't.

Moody 52

Hello,
Just read your last year message about Moody 52.
I own one that is the only twin engined ever built with two Perkins 4.236 which are now in a complete rebuilding process. When finished she will be for sale, eventually with own private mooring in Palma de Mallorca.
Can be contacted on dominik-hohn@terra.es

I've got one of the others

I've had my 52 for a few years now, 'Palandra'. She is currently laid up ashore in Scotland. Plan is to take her to the Med in 2012, and then beyond.....

Hello to the owner of PALANDRA,
I am Dominik and I own since 1987 a Moody Carbineer 52 L'EQUILIBRE, formerly SWEET ALMA OF KIP built in 1976, actually in a "better than new" condition. These boats are fantastic and after 25 years I still have the same opinion. In which condition is yours and when was she built ?
Come to the Med and you will enjoy it. I am in Palma de Mallorca when not sailing.
Kind regards,
Dominik
