Looking for a bit of Volvo Penta advice.

Make sure it is not coming from the screw in oil filter and dripping on pipe and running down , it has been known from previous posts for this to lead to engines being stripped down as some filters have had problems with seating properly .

The gaskets may be fibre washers... if so you should be able to match them easily enough in a decent hardware shop, plumbers merchants, motor factors ASAP supplies probably.

They may be copper washers. In which case annealing by heating to a dull red heat and allowing to cool maybe all that is required.

They may be aluminium washers which have corroded . If so replace with fibre washers.

Whatever they are 0.85euro for new ones should not break anyones budget.

Sure its not the drain plug #14 just above leaking ?

Is this a good idea even on fuel lines? I sometimes get an air leak from the bleed screw on my fuel pre-filter.

AFAIK vulcanised fibre washers are suitable for use on fuel systems.

I guess they are not as robust as copper or aluminium washers so perhaps less suitable for frequent reuse but no bother or great expense to keep a few spares.
