Looking at a Palma based Tomahawk 37

Am coming to Palma next weekend to have a look at a Sunseeker Tomahawk 37 MK2.

Anyone know a cheap decent hotel in town?

Anyone got any sensible comments about giving this thing a once-over??? Bits that drop off...hull stress points etc etc??

Am getting a full servey/compression tests etc etc but only after I have had a look.

Also anyone got experience of stripping stickers like this off a hull??

If your lucky they'll just peel off, if not its hair drier/hot air gun(used with great care) and a soft scraper,just done a similar job today and used a teflon coated fish slice(Asda) and a hot air gun held about 18 inches from decal.
Got all the residual bits off with Maplins Label remover.
If the decal has been on for any length of time you may have to do a serious cutting and polishing exercise to get rid of the "shadow" left.

We've stayed at the Hotel Bendinat . Nice well located hotel between Portals and Palma but I dont know whether the price suits you

We like http://www.hotelsanlorenzo.com. It's in the old town and walkable to the main Palma marinas.
