Probably an every day thing for those of you based in other parts of the Med but quite a novelty here.

Hope you find these pics interesting.

Apparently she is owned buy the boat builder personally - 12 crew and I understand that the engine room is a masterpiese of stainless steel. Someone locally said that they actually aircondition the engine rom.

Sweeeeet !!!!
The fuel bill must be impressive with those Three MTUs at 4550hp each running it to 40 knots. ( not bad for nearly 500 tons)

I am sure this is the vessel that the C4 crowd as in that Welsh chap that bags all the beauties was chartering at Cannes?

i shall going and check my Daily Mail back issues...

Blast, and I told them not to deliver my new boat till next week! No, I'm going to stay on my T34 for another week just to spite them! Nice looking boat. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Technically it's no longer a boat if it displaces 500 tons or more, it gets classified as a ship, a very nice looking ship at that, are you wanting to dispose of that 34 of yours at the end of next week?

I'll take it off yours hands, as you'll be too busy doin' sea trials to bother soiling your hands with mundane tasks like selling a little 34 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have a similar gangplank, but mine is all iroko, designed and built by me!! With help from Mr. B! But that is where the similarity ends!! Nice looking vessel.

Lovely boat. Never mind MPG, a boat that size is in tonnes per hour. My 24 footer will fit in the boot no problem. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yup that's hull #1 of the gusta 165. Hull #2 was pictured on here a couple of months ago, BJB posted I think

Hull #1 is thought to be owned by James Packer. It has been berthed in Camille Rayon, Golfe Juan (near Cannes, but not actually Cannes) this last winter 2008/9 but I dont think it's based anywhere as such and was in Croatia area most of summer 2008

Apropos of unusual landscapes....

...we have a rather big beast also around here, these days.
Good to understand when you have real friends onboard: they managed to appear genuine while saying that my 53' is more charming than the 53m Baglietto!... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
