Well it's not strictly new - its a well travelled Westerly Pageant belonging to a WOA member and is actually 30 years old.

The photo below was taken just after she was moved into the hall before Christmas but she looks as good as the day she was launched.

Members of the Westerly Owners Association will be on hand as part of the 'Jargon-free Boats' feature to talk about their passion for sailing and the association. We would be pleased to meet any forumites and in particularly Westerly owners on our stand in the central walkway between the halls for a chat.

Looks a picture don't she! Wish my old Nomad looked as good! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Amazing,as you say looks as good as new,a credit to the owner.
Would be interested in some interior shots as I won't be going to the show.

Every time we go to the boat show we say, "Where are all the affordable, starter boats like in the old days?"
Looks like there's one again this year.

Is she from Pwllheli?

I was having some rigging built in one of the sheds and there was a real beauty in the middle of the shed having just had new rubbing strakes fitted. She looked as immaculate as this boat you are showing.

Just wondering if it is one and the same?

I believe this one comes from Poole, but it's likely there are others around in equally good condition. One reason that even older Westerly's are so popular is that they were so well built, with the right care they are likely to last for another 30 years.
