Longshot: Looking for accommodation for a sailing instructor in Melbourne...

Hi All,
This is s long shot and I know all you loverly people will forgive me for posting this here.... .
My son is working in Melbourne as a sailing instructor on the lake in the middle of the motor racing track and he struggling to find accommodation (other than a hostel).
Are there any Austrilain members who might know someone with a room to let?
