Who on here recalls the epic deck job we did (STEVE) did on EOT, I managed to put myself out of the game by head butting the port engine. Well today the job was finally finished by Steve and I and guess what no injuries sustained. She has been like this for a long while,

it’s only taken 15 years, not bad really.
 
That's tidied her up nicely O, problem is it now directs attention to the cockpit gunwhale capping timbers :)

That raised engine box, low topside, tumblehome, flared-bow semi-D concept is also used on a boat out here called a Choey Lee (70's Taiwanese built) which I have operated in the past.
Not a common sight, but a great head sea riding boat.

Thanks for pointing out the gunnels, they will get oiled this weekend, if any body here can suggest a treatment I will be happy to listen, before you start we have in the past used, decsolay, sikkens, cuprinol, garden furniture stain, (it does what it says on the tin) you name the brand we've used it, the timber is Iroko, and nothing will get into it, so we scraped it down to bare wood and oil it, it looks good for a week or so.
