Long shaft on Rib ?

Hi All

can anyone tell me how a longshaft 8 hp yamaha will run on a vailliant d-300 rib ?
Im fine with the power aspect of it ,will it ride in the same way ?

RIBs are usually made for short shaft engines. Check with the specification. Transom height should be around 15" for short. Long is 21" - and will not work properly on a 15" transom.
