Just shows how much quieter it gets the further North you go.

On Saturday three of us left Gt Yarmouth for Wells next the Sea, then on Sunday afternoon headed back to Lowestoft, a round trip just short of 100 nm.

Whilst at sea we didn't see another boat!!

Busy enough for me .....
We travelled back to Hull Saturday departing Lowestoft at 10 am. Eight mobos / yachts left infront and all went south / straight ahead.
Passed two yachts at the wind farm and two mobos going south. Had six pleasure and three fishing in the wash pass going south, plus the usual commercials, and saw couple of yachts going north and a large 'dutch' sailing barge presumably on route to this weekends Hull Sea Shanty.
Met with four mobos outside Spurn Point going into Humber.
Main Estuary was a total white out with yachts everywhere and quite a few mobo.
130 nm in 6 hours so not that lonely really and cant really remember not having another vessel in sight at any point which is reassuring ........
