I've been reading with interest the posts concerning London trips. As my own is coming up next week (Wed to Sun) I thought I'd just ask if there was any other advice anyone has.

Its some years since we made the journey down to St Kat's and that was with a sports boat, so we punched the tide, leaving on a weak flood and got there from Hampton Court in one session.

Now with a more sedate craft (30ft semi-displacement with an 80hp turbo diesel) I reckon I should cruise around 8 knots, so leaving Tedders on a high tide and going to Imperial for the first night, Gallions Point 2nd night and have booked into St Kat's for the third. Will then come back up to Hampton Court for the fourth before going to Penton on the last day.

Any thoughts spring to mind please give 'em an airing.

Thanks,

Mike

Our 30 footer with 60bhp gets down in one go no problems.

We leave Richmond as soon as the lockie will allow us out of the lock on an incoming low tide, and we get there with half an hour to spare.

Imperial Wharf means you can come and go whenever you like!

Haha, something called work got in the way! I'm just editing some pics now. Does anyone know how to drop pics into a post rather than as an attachment. I think they need to been on an external site but not sure what the html needs to be.

Any help appreciated!

Note the milfalicious Lesley on the foredeck, not for sale, but can be filthy!

At the risk of repeating myself, dear Sir........your parents were unmarried and you were born out of wedlock to an Albanian gypsy.

Nice boat BTW.......
