Its an annual pilgrimige to go to the London Boat Show but this year it was certainly made more difficult and frustrating with the lack of good road signs in the square mile or so around the show. A miriad of roadworks does nothing to help. I know that that is not the organisers fault but the lack of signage is direcetly down to them as they have to pay to have it put up, and there was very little. If a UK resident experiences difficulties what hope do foreign visitors have, particularly when the industry needs everyones money to survive.
Excellant venue once there but I did hear a lot of moans from some East Coast sailors about the cost and range of food available in the RYA lounge. They insisted upon tellimng me of their problems rather than the RYA. I direceted them to this excellant forum, but judging by the 'Box Brownie' that one was using as a camera, I think the complexities of the computer might have passed them by. What was your experience like?
