My boat is on a pontoon mooring which dries at low water. The ST60 log paddle wheel gets jammed with mud. Well it would wouldn't it!
Anybody know of a non paddle wheel type of transducer that is compatible with Raymarine ST60?
I could withdraw the transducer each time I leave the boat but although it is accessible it is not easy to get at. My other alternative is to fit the transducer on the transom and lift it when leaving the boat.
By the way the boat is a Southerly 100.

Airmar produce an ultrasonic sensor that is a solid state transducer. 35 meadowbrook Drive, Milford, New Hampshire o3055-4613, USA. www.airmar.com.

I have been considering one for my boat , problem is they are quite pricey, if I remember about £300 or £400.

All the best.

The Airmar sensor is a CS450 (I think). You can easily confirm this by checking on their website. It is not generally available and has a reputation for being "unreliable". It is also a through hull fitting and needs to be kept clean, so may not solve the problem. It is listed on the jgtech website.
