Boat was lifted for fitting a stern thruster (Beneteau Antares 30), before lifting log and speed displaying in plotter, but after going back in the water nothing. When I try and set the fishfinder I get the message "No Data".

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

"No data" rather than zero values I think implies a broken connection to the transducer. Or serious damage to the transducer itself, but I think it would have to be so serious that you'd know about it from the water in the bilges. Anyway, not something on the outside like the paddlewheel being dislodged by a badly placed strop.

I don't suppose there's a plug in the cable near the transducer, which was disconnected and withdrawn to protect it from the straps, and not reconnected afterwards?

Pete

Not quite that simple, the C series also requires a black box processor to convert the raw data for C series so there may be a fault there, it will be a DSM series so that will need to be checked too, ensure it has power and is connected to the transducer and C series, it will have indicator LED that you can use to diagnose from the manual. It has a dedicated lead rather than being part of a network, the Airmar transducers for the black box are hard wired so no plug near the transducer to worry about but check for damage. As a first step listen for a clicking from the transducer
