My eletric motor is shot and i need a new one or a recon, does anybody have any ideas.

E C Smith are the agents for spares. As an alternative, couldn't you try getting your motor repaired/rewound?

Might be worth contacting Lemac Motors www.lemac.com they make all kinds of motors including 12volt. Possibly they may supply a substitute.

Suss for a local agent doing CIMA motors ex Italy. Most winch makers use them and it is highly possible that is what is in there anyway.

Watch out for the differing mountings.
