This years Customer Charter provides the following commitment to serviced lock keeping hours:
You will see from the table that this month there is a commitment to provide a minimum river-wide target of 98% against the hours shown.
Bear in mind this is a river wide target and does not mean 98% on a lock by lock basis.
There is also no commitment to provide guaranteed cover for meal and break times - usually 1300-1400 and 1600 to 1630, or when the lock keeper may be carrying out weir keeping duties.
