Hi everyone, new user here! Just wanting to see if there is any Loch Lomond users on here? I'm just up there today enjoying nice weather in the new boat! Hope the weather only gets better, i'm looking forward to a nice summer up there!
I think you will find you are far from alone on being a LL boater on this forum, we used to live up that way but did not have our own boat till we moved south of the border, we did have a great weeks holiday on LL a few years back when we towed our boat up.

So you're posh then! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
We were up there last weekend - it rained constantly so we came home. This weekend looked glorious, should've gone up really, assuming boat hasn't sunk...
Welcome to the Mad house. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Not really this place is fab.
There are not many of us Loch Lomond users on here, but every few months another one pops up which i think is great.
I have been on the Loch 3 years now, we berth at Ardlui along with Tinstafl and Roy, who'll be along shortly no doudt!!
As Simon says, You is Posh!!! Berthing at Cameron House, Us commoners berth at Ardlui, But it is quite nice, great people and masses of good beer and whiskey.
You're boat looks like a SeaRay poss 240 or 250 Sundancer??? taken at Luss?? Is this your first boat, or have you been doing it for a long time??
You'll need to come up to Ardlui one weekend, berth over night on the main pier, and we can all have a drinking session.
How do you get on with John McColl??
So any more info you can give us on yerself or Loch Lomond, would be great, and hopefully one day we can all meet up.
I've been a trip up to Ardlui once, usually don't venture that far to be honest but will no doubt venture up again for a pint or two with you all
Yep, that pic was taken this weekend, never even thought i'd de-winterise it til the end of April/beginning of May to be honest!
You're right Alistair, it's a 2004 Searay 240 Sundancer, taken at Luss. This is my second year at the loch having had a Bayliner 2052 cuddy as my first boat last season (so i guess the bug they talked about has bitten after all!!) I'm still fairly young but my family have always been on the Loch so i've been up there through my childhood on their boats/caravans @ Inverbeg, just thought it was time to join them /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
John McColl? Don't think i recognise the name, does he work there?
