Well my week is up in Oban and heading back to Ireland, with some time to burn.

I've a few hours to kill so decided i'm going to spend it at the tourist info area (just beside the Hydro electric station, and where Loch Lomand Cruises are moored) relaxing and enjoying the views.

If anyone is around, give me a PM - gladly bring ya for a bit of lunch since i'll be around the area!

(Will check forum again at 12 noon tomorrow - PM me your number and i'll give you a call)

PS. Took loads of pictures of Oban / Loch Lomand - i'll upload them when I get home, magical spot!!

Agreed. Oban is a great place. If you're spending time at Loch lomond on your way back, you'll find more to see and do at the south end - free parking at Lomond Shores, and as well as the shops and cafes there are the main slipways and the Ranger station (very friendly folks)
