Local suppliers of Marine Ply

I'm looking for 2 pcs of 12mm plain marine (or quality exterior) ply approx 1000mm x 500mm (or 1 pc 1000mmm sq ) for my cockpit box lids.

I don't want the chinese sh**e that the likes of Ridgeons or B&Q supply - the outer veneers were barely glued on the last sheet I bought.

Can anybody recommend a supplier between Ipswich & Lowestoft?

I could ask at the workshop at SYH but I expect I'd be charged an arm & a leg for it.

Marine Ply

I'm glad I'm not the only one that has had dramas finding timber.

Wroxham was where I ended up - there are a couple of yards there that supply the broads boats. They have a good selection as well.

We got some good quality marine ply from Travis Perkins - there's bound to be a branch near you.

Got mine from Travis Perkins, looked good and I got a whole 8x4 sheet for 30 quid which I thought was pretty reasonable.
