living aboard in cornwall, help!

Im sure there must be people living aboard in cornwall ( especially in view of the house prices down here!!). Is there anyone out there who lives aboard in the Truro, st Austell area? It seems there are no suitable moorings in less you go as far as penzance or plymouth.
Any help or advice gratefully recieved, thanks

There must be moorings available somewhere on the Fal, it's an effin big river/estuary, maybe not looking in the right place. Maybe Fowey?

thanks for the reply. Yes i think the fal is my only option. Just a long way from my business in St Austell. Fowey has lots but no residential moorings!

Knew someone who had beached a boat at Charlestown some 30 years ago.

Don't think it was official though.
