I'm planning to buy a cruising houseboat and moor it in Brighton Marina, but I'm new to the world of boating. I'd like to talk to other people in the area who have already done it to ask them questions and get advice on what type of boat I should get.

I used to live on board at Southsea Marina...part of the Premier group....liveabords were very welcome....

I'd suggest you call the marina up and ask them directly.....I was going to move to Brighton and made enquiries.....they had no problems with me potentially living on board

ive got friends who live aboard in brighton, theoretically cant stay for whole year (council thing not marina) but in reality the marina has quite a large liveaboard community.
