Liveaboard Contents Insurance

I'm very aware that our GJW boat insurance policy only covers our personal belongings to a very limited extent (if at all).

Do any of you have an additional policy? If so with which firm? What policy etc.

Our boat insurance is through Bishop Skinner and we added further personal effects to that. Valuables (eg jewellery) and money are not covered, though.

We are with Pantanious and it has a seperate contents list. We add to the list as we purchase new items I.E. TV Generator. They e-mail back to let us know it is added and the extra cost.

Also with Pantaenius. They give general cover and specified valuable items. Never heard of anybody insuring a generator, surely they would have to nick the boat for that. On reflection maybe it's a portable Honda type?
