Thats because most of us are cruising already, the liveaboard forum always slows down at this time of year. Most bigger boating centres have a liveaboard community, although it moves around, or there's no point in living aboard!

Help please.....Can you help me in locating a marina for retired ... and tired of mowin the grass live aboards ....I am looking for south eastcoast (n. carolina and down to fla ) or gulf coast area Marina for liveaboards
I have lived aboard in MD & Va ...winters are to cold & long
Im ssi fxd income so dock fees must be reasonable?
I have had 25 to 50 footers. I will find something after I can locate a marina ..still have my 25 sloop but....?
Hoping to find something...S of virginia and pos gulf coast

You might consider New Bern North Carolina. I've heard very positive things about the community.

You may also have better luck getting input on a board that caters to a U.S. audience. Try CSBB (www.cs-bb.com) or Cruiser's Forum (www.cruisersforum.com). There are a lot people in Florida and a few on the Gulf Coast who participate on the L&A Forum (http://www.latsandatts.net/forum/).
