I offer this gem to the house. Picked up at a jumble for pennies, and probably out of print. This book is captivating in it's thoroughness of close quarter handling and the principles involved.
Written in very precise terms I just love it's quaintness! The information on leaving the middle of a raft is a prime example of this style.
I'd worry about the advice of pumping oil out through the heads in rough weather as being acceptable these days...
