Depends upon the object of the list. If is to remind your good lady how many times you have, put boat first, ignored the kids, failed to take the dog for a walk etc, its a bad idea. If it is to remind her what an ace husband you have been, by buying her flowers, remembering birthdays AND anniverseries(That one really is sensitive, as my ex wife will confirm!!) taking her out to dinner etc, then not bad at all.

I use one when I have a lot of jobs to do on the boat, then just tick 'em off as they get done. Trouble is, sometimes you end up adding jobs faster than you can do them. Lists do save memory power tho', and some of us like that!

Lists are a woman thing. My SWMBO regularly writes a list of reasons why she should'nt stay married to me followed by a list of assets she'd get if she was'nt followed by a list of things she'd do when she is'nt
