Hi,

Does anyone have any info/tips on a Lister Petter LPW3 diesel engine. She is 30hp and 3 cylinder.

Can't find any forum hits on this engine. Haven't heard her start yet; be interesting see how balanced a three cylinder behaves compared to my 1GM10.

Don't know what revs to expect for 5knts say.

Some very boring youtube videos of them running and I have found the data sheet.

So I guess my only direct question at the minute is if I run her hard, how hot to touch is expected round the various engine components?

Thanks,

Tony

This engine is water cooled so the thermostat will ook after temperature of most bits and will depend on which thermostat is fitted. The manual tells you about this.

Manual......... http://tehstar.ru/assets/files/manuals/LISTER PETTER LPW 09 MPM.pdf

The exhaust might get hot if you set up a dry exhast system!
