does anyone know if there is, or does anyone have a list of buoys/marks/cardinals, ideally in some sort of GPX/GPS/digital format?
I'm looking at making a map/chart/art project with marks/lights in the right place...

Its all digital so transposing off a chart I would like to avoid if possible :-)

Don’t forget to download it again in spring, some of the marks do get relaid slightly differently, and as they are sponsored, they are regularly renamed.
As an aside, I wonder if the renaming detracts from the sponsorship. I now remember the two character names better than the names, in my head the names are what they were 20 years ago :)

We came to grief in Cowes week over a renaming. We now find Cowes Harbour Services, and Cowes Harbour next door to each other. The shame of it?

The GPS link didn't give what I expected - I was hoping for a file that I could just open up in Google Earth and see the buoys easily in that. This file just has some codes for each buoy. I can get the latitudes and longitudes from the Mark Designations file but it would take some time to input them all. Is there anywhere I can simply get a gps/kml file to use in Google Earth?

Thanks.

This should help ... Importing Global Positioning Systems (GPS) data in Google Earth Desktop
