Am trying to source a combined NMEA and power cable for a Garmin 128GPS and then a wiring diagram showing how to link the GPS unit to a NASASX35 DSC/VHF.Can anyone help with either- or both?

The Garmin 128 comes with this cable as standard, and many chandlers keep spares so sourcing this shouldn't be a problem. The wiring is very simple and requires just the NMEA output and ground to be connected to the DSC set. Can't remember the colours off hand but can check my 128 manual if you get stuck.

my 128 did not need any extra cables, as the data wires were in the main connection to power the unit.

have fun
