Now I've worked out how to do it, here are some video grab images of a severe lightning storm I filmed from the cockpit a few days ago around New York City Harbour. The Yacht anchored to the left of the pictures had all his electronics destroyed, although they do not think it was a direct strike. The last picture is of my dinghy that was alongside, being picked up by the wind and pinned against the side of the boat.The video is at http://theyachtseraphim.blogspot.com/.
