Looking a bit blowy down there, had the boat put back in the water last week, haven't managed to get down to make things more shipshape yet. Hoping to get down this coming weekend. On the plus side, she hasn't got her sails rigged at the moment, so less windage.
Hope to de-winterise the engine, rig the sails, polish the heads, oh and go for a sail /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif if all goes to plan this weekend.
Does anyone know if they've finished dredgin/ refloated the pontoons at Levington yet?

Dredger was still very much in evidence yesterday (Sunday 09/03).

You could get out if you're moored in the eastern part (Lightship). If you're in the western part you might just scrape through if you're well fendered. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Launched tender in the west and just had enough room to get to the east.

Looks like the tide has hit quite a high now though.... looking at the shotley webcam, the tide is over the top of the lock gates...

I've just had a squall in London, where the rain was bouncing back off the windows in spray and the wind nearly taking tiny little me off my feet (for the uninitiated I'm 6'4 and 17 st)

Thanks for the update.

I was told they'd put me in the Eastern side until they were done (normal berth western side), so should be alright

Moved my boat on to a Wards swinging mooring Sunday for a lift out this week by Kings boatyard at Pin Mill.
Timing is everything they say!!!!
Oh and when I spoke to Gus at Kings he said ahh not serviced those moorings yet--- should be ok.

Don't know about anywhere else, but Spalding is currently being hammered by the winds and rain, all hatches battened down but it's a lot stronger tonight.
