I have the option of having my Bertrem 42 aft cabin lifted out on a trolley. Never done it with this boat before, its always been in the strops. Now this may sound odd but I can't remember if the rudders or props hang down lower than the keel. Anyone know if this boat can go on a trolley without causing damage?

I think you will find rudders and props will hang of the back of the trolley, have been lifted on a few of these over the years without problems. It is a bit like knowing where the strop should be, the operator should know how far on to the trolley you can go.

1) this used to be the only way to lift a boat way back when ...
2) We did this when in Peterhead and went like a dream, when you assume rudders & props are deeper than the keel
3) If trolley is big, make sure aft end, rudders & props, are inside one of the "trays"
4) Feels safer than a full lift ...

May be some pictures in here ...

This is probably a better picture of props & rudders fitted between two trays of the trolley...
