Liferaft & PLB saves two lives in Channel Islands

Not a boat but a single engine light aircraft ditches in the channel and the pilot/passenger survive by having the right equipment (liferaft and PLB) on board.

It was surprising that the aircraft very quickly sank leaving no trace and the occupants in their raft, some distance away, only found promptly by PLB activation.
