Lifejacket gas refills - resetting pin

Morning all,


I have been given a good quality lifejacket which has only been used in the swimming pool for demonstration purposes.

I have installed a new gas refill, but the red button indicator which was used during demonstrations won't reset to green. It still shows red. How can this be done,. the surveyor might query this.

I must be getting senile !!! Left the most important detail out !!


It is a Comfort CE - German make, but the inner workings are identical with my other UK jackets.

Make of the inflator mechanism is the important one, rather than the jacket. There are several common types in use, so afraid "like my other UK jackets" doesn't help much

Probably won't do that much good as Comfort is the brand name used by Compass. They use united moulders parts so try googling for them

Email them with a picture and they'll tell you everything you need.

I've just replaced all my jackets arming devices etc. and they were very helpful. Replacement parts ordered arrived the next day.
