Life of a wooden boat?

Bosun of Forth is relatively young at a launch date of 1962. In my short time with her she has had four boards replaced to beat rot. She leaks a little and goes well still and I hope that she will last a whole lot longer.
The hull is pitch pine below the waterline and is still strong and good. The frames work well and are kept up to scratch. Keel etc are still sound.
I just hope she will forgive me for the treatment I give her.

Tonijon is 74 and although in need of tlc still in pretty good nick including her oak frams althouth I think any wooden boat over a certain age tends to be lke triggers broom tonijon when we are finished with her will have 11 new frames and at least 2 new planks.
