Has anyone got any experience of a decent life jacket with an integrated PLB?
I need to upgrade my life jacket and I'm also considering getting a PLB for when I'm cruising offshore. It strikes me as a useful combination to have a life jacket with an integrated PLB that not only keeps the PLB with you, discretely, at all times you have the jacket on, but which will automatically deploy a distress message when the jacket inflates. This will avoid the risk of the PLB not being manually deployed if you are knocked unconscious and fall in the water.
If anyone has any information or experience or such a life jacket I would be extremely interested to hear from you.
