I bought one the last time the were stocked.
Chopped off the transformer and wired up to ship's supply and stuck them under a shelf in the heads.
Work fine and give good, warm light.

I bought a 5 metre tape of them from an ebay trader. It can be cut to length (in increments of about 50 mm) and operates off 12 volts. On Wight Dawn, this is achieved from the 24 volt battery via a DC-DC convertor giving a constant 13.5 volts. They are installed as 60's type concealed lighting along the cabin sides behind a sort of "pelmet" and give a very pleasant light. And have not gone on fire yet!
