Lidl hot knife rope cutter/sealer. From the 19th June.

From the 19th June, Lidl are selling their Parkside electric soldering iron. This works well as a rope cutter and end sealer and is on special again at £7.99. Professional rope cutters at Chandlers seem to be about £65

I have used one for the last few months and found it very useful with the flat blade in the kit for cutting and sealing rope and also sealing shockcord ends. Certainly saves time and gives a good finish and you can also use it as a soldering iron!

The Cs and Ds are particularly good value as 4Ah and 4.5Ah respectively. Have bought on previous occaissions and they are fine, but sell out very quickly.
