The dsa are bleating(again) that those who pass driving tests after 1 Jan 1997 need a separate car/trailer test to legally tow larger trailers...http://www.dsa.gov.uk/infocentre/pr_releases/2002/2202TroubleInTowing.htm

now I see that the press release was dated May 2002: blame speedy journo's on "disabled motorist" magazine

A quick look at the licence categories on the back may have given the game away.

IMHO it's one of the better laws.

I'm proposing a complete ban on caravans, crashes and all other road users that could impede my journey to the boat.

What do you mean the sea gull in front's walking !!!

how many people read through them though?

The dsa's point was that they carried out just 299 car/trailer tests in 2001, and 1.3million car tests.

We're lobbying our mp to close the beaches on Hayling Island: that should speed up the summer w/end traffic.

Ban all caravans from the roads except between the hours of 12 midnite and 4.30 am.I ask you fellow mariners is that being unreasonable?

Just hold tight dear it will not be so rough when we get round the corner, trust me.
