I wince at the cost of some spares and Lewmar are eye watering .

The oil seal on the wheel shaft on my lewmar steering pedestal has disintergared with age, sun and rain - bit like me actually . The lewmar replacement part is around 24 EURO plus shipping ,brexit tax, import duty, and VAT etc. I have found the replacement on simply bearings website. You need to order av1x2x0.25 inch Viton Rubber Imperial Single Lip Rotary Shaft Oil Seal with Garter Spring. Or in new money, 50.8 x 25.4 x 6.35mm - £4.44 plus vat ( shipping free)

We have a Lewmar powered winch. The membrane for the push button is just glued on, not available as a separate part. A new switch was eyewateringly expensive!

I trimmed the edge off of a 30mm grommet and superglued it in place.

Been great for six seasons and looks good for another six :)
