Lewmar standard 16 for 16ST - A straight swap?

Hi everyone,

At present I have 2 x Lewmar standard 16 winches.

I've got a spare bit of cash and have decided I want to swap them for Lewmar 16 Self Tailers.

Does anyone know if it's a straight swap? i.e. no drilling required? or do I have to mess about drilling yet more holes to fit them?

I hope someone can help answer the question.

Dunno, but in case you haven't bought them yet I just got 2 Lewmar 16ST Chrome from here : www.marine-super-store.com for £230 each incl delivery! The website says they are out of stock but after calling them to check, a pair arrived the next day direct from Bainbridge.
Highly recommended and absolutely no connection etc.

Depends on age of your current ones - I swapped older 40's for 40ST's and the fixing positions were different. If yours are newish I think there are drawings on their website www.lewmar.com
