Lewmar Rollstop hatch seal

My task for the day, even though I don't know when I'll be able to refit the hatch.

I can get the seal on relatively easily using the old fashioned windscreen fitting trick of string around the seal, the four corners are however proving difficult and it seems logical they need a cut - any secret tips most welcome ?

make a staggered cut and use correct waterproof glue ( used on inflatables) I think it is a waterproof contact adhesive. Seals Direct are sell it and are quite helpful I have found.
