Lewmar Enguard Pedestal repairs

I'm trying to replace the seal/ bearings in the pinion housing ( the bit the wheel connects to) on my Lewmar pedestal. These arel mounted in a housing that has 3 bolts holding it on to the main body. I am having difficulty removing the housing from the main body - has anyone else done this before and had this issue and how did you solve it?

Does anyone know what is the right process to remove the wheel? Help much ... This seems to be a custom Lewmar pedestal for Baltic.
