Can I change a sheave on a Lewmar Ocean deck organiser (2004) and if yes how,I dont see how the spindle of the sheave is fixed to the frame of the organiser.Thanks

If you remove all the fixings, doesn't the top of the organiser lift off?

It does, just remove the bolts, the base of the organiser usually remains stuck to the deck, leaving the top to lift off and the sheaves to lift off the spindles.

Many thanks.I was afraid that the spindle was riveted to the box .Can the sheaves be replaced my ball bearing sheaves?Are the distances between the bolts of the new Lewmar Ocean organiser the same as the old ones and if yes are the news ones better:quality, friction ,durability ?

Ask Lewmar - the newer sheaves may not be compatible.
