Levington: The Ship Inn

We had lunch there a few weeks ago. To be honest, I don't remember the meal but the pub was pleasant and I think the menu was appropriately modest. The beer was good too, I think.

Good to hear that it is at least open again, I had not heard that it was and assumed it was still closed.

we ate there a few weeks ago, a light lunch, food was very good and well priced, nice atmosphere

edit....senior moment by myself, we ate at the Lightship

We had lunch there yesterday and noticed a couple sitting outside (it was sunny) with a dog, which had a dog bowl, not sure if that had food or water in it. Did not see any dogs inside.
The food was an improvement on the previous people (who I believe were from the Cherry Tree opposite Notcutts in Woodbridge) but it was nothing to write home about and certainly nowhere near as good as in past years. The bar is open all day although food is not served all day. The decor is much the same as it has been for years.

Many thanks for the info. We will be sailing so may well end up in the wonderful Lightship instead. Thanks again.
