In 2004 there was a brief discussion in this forum about Lemster 26's - someone, impressively, had sailed one to Australia, and someone was in the process of buying, described as "just sailable." I'm also thinking of buying one - there are several currently for sale - and I'm wondering if any of the former posters could enlighten me about them, sailing qualities and headroom in particular. I'm also curious about why so few Dutch steel boats seem to be painted with conventional paints; very few seem to be epoxy-coated.
