Is this a good place to start sailing then? Trafford water sports centre course dates fell on days when I am busy so I am now looking else where. If anyone knows of THE BEST place to learn to sale in the cheshire area please let me know!!

Cheers

There's a water sports centre in Liverpool, just on the right hand side on the way in to Liverpool Marina

Tried Elton yet?
Going back to your earlier post - if you are thinking of joining a club, see what they offer in terms of membership reductions for doing the course. The crewing job I referred to was to crew in a dinghy - there's normally someone needing crew and a scan of the club notice board would normally find you a ride. Additionally - see if there is a club dinghy you could use from time to time before you rush into purchasing something.
