Led strip light tape advise

Can someone please tell me the difference between the different type of LED tape I want to put some around my engine bay

I have found some 5050 smd waterproof tape and some 3528 smd waterproof tape now I think the 5050 stuff has more lumens but the 3528 has 600 led to the 5m roll compared to 300 leds on the 5050 stuff

My question is which one will be the brightest out the two the one with better lumens or the one with twice the quantity of led bulbs

no worries a word of warning i have had some awful cheap led strips that die quickly so sometimes the cheapest is not always the one to go for
