Thinking about replacing tri-colour bulb with LED, it seems that an all round White light is not the way forward and a replacement LED bulb should be tri-coloured. Not sure why as it replaces a single halogen bulb where colour separation was enabled by the lense not the bulb?
However given that the replacement is to be a tri-colour bulb that is aligned with the colours in the lense of the light, can anyone confirm that the tri-colour LED bulb in the link below would work:

The LED bulb is to replace Hellamarine bulb 8GA 003 488-1200-30 12V 25W. It is a Bay 15d fitting.
Grateful if someone could do a quick sanity check on this option.
