I would be very grateful if someone could advise me where to obtain the following

' White masthead navigation light 20 LED with a PCB slab up the centre, with voltage regulation circuitry (?). 2A 70 lumens '

I am not gifted in electronics and want to improve my masthead light and at the same time reduce draw on the battery.

Many thanks for any replies.

There is a lot of previous stuff on LED nav lights.

I will paraphrase for you:

a normal Nav light designed for an incandescent bulb, but fitted with an LED is not legal.

Hella, and at least 2 other manufacturers have IMO certified LED systems available for sale as a total replacement. Aquasignal are expected to announce theirs fairly soon.

Notwithstanding this, some people have replaced their incandescent bul;bs with special LED rigs here are a couple of refs:

The cheapest Ultra leds but make sure you get the correct base fitting (one or two contacts, pins lined up or pins offset)

The most power efficient, and also the most expensive Deepcreek system
